I disagree with the statement that CE requirements dictate colors. I am
not aware of any CE requirements anyway. The CE marking is only an
indication that a product complies with the applicable EU Directives in
force at the time of manufacture, nothing more, nothing less.

It might be worth a try to ask this customer where this CE color
requirement came from. Maybe this customer doesn't understand the
requirements or has simply been given inaccurate information.
