Advanced Computer Communications (ACC) located in the beach town of sunny Santa Barbara, CA has an immediate opening for a Compliance Engineer.
You will be responsible for regulatory compliance encompassing Safety, EMC and Network Attachment certifications of high performance Internetworking products. Duties include product design review participation, formulating proposed solutions, soliciting test quotes from outside labs, developing and managing project schedules, test participation at outside labs and providing support to sales and marketing staff. Occasional international and domestic travel required. The position requires a BSEE/EET or equivalent, 2+ years related regulatory test experience, excellent oral, written and project management skills. Position reports to the Approvals Manager. The ideal candidate is familiar with LAN/WAN technologies, has a thorough understanding of electronic systems product design, has solid experience operating electronic test equipment including o'scopes, logic/spectrum analyzers, EMC measurement equipment and is proliferate in the following MS applications: Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint.
