Product Regulations Engineer Company: Intel Corporation Location: Hillsboro, Oregon and Dupont, Washington
Intel is looking for two Product Regulations Engineers to support business units in Oregon and Washington. The individual will be responsible for assuring products are safe and comply with applicable safety, telecom, EMC, ergonomics and ecology regulations and initiatives. Will also serve as the liaison to Intel's outsourcing process. Success will be measured by the depth of regulation research, accuracy of regulatory strategy, correctness of evaluations of products, instructions and specifications and the timeliness of these evaluations. Timeliness and effectiveness of liaison with certifiers and satisfaction of external and internal customers in design, manufacturing, quality and materials is critical. A BSEE with a minimum of 5 years of highly diversified safety and EMC experience is required. Must be knowledgeable in product regulations and certification schemes worldwide. Experience in ITE is highly desired. Experience in other product categories would be a plus. Excellent communications skills and stability in a crisis are a must.
