The sinx/x frequency response which he talked about is the result from a finite impluse signal repeated in x period of time. The square wave is a special case were the pluse width is 1/2 of the period. In the limit when the impuse amplitude is infinite and the width is 0+ and repeats in infinite period of time, there are all frequencies present at an amplitude of one. Ho hum! Is this technical stuff?
