EN55024 has a 30% reduction for 25 periods with performance criterion C. This level falls neatly between the 90 to 135 and 180 to 270V bands for auto ranging switch-mode PSUs. The basic standard for this test is IEC 61000-4-11.

Both tests require Performance Criteria C. - Wouldn't a single test at 50 periods cover this requirement? - Is there a special operating condition or situation intended for this test that isn't mentioned in the standard? ------------------------------------------- This message is from the IEEE EMC Society Product Safety Technical Committee emc-pstc discussion list.
