Hi Peter, Whenever I've had safety questions regarding Lithium batteries, I've always found the manufacturer to be the best source of information. At the time, I talked with Tadiran, since we were using their batteries. Tadiran was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. After all, it's their business to know.
