Vic I believe that the diagram is for indicative purposes and attempts to show all test configurations. Thus when I perform this testing I use one continuous earth plane to which the EUT is earthed mounted on 10cm supports (if the EUT is not floor standing). Have a look at figure 9. Thanks Ian Gordon
