Hi Group,

What is your opinion about the electrical safety aspects of
bootlace ferrules, especially the twin versions.

Several standards allow the insertion of 2 wires in
a terminal "if especially designed for".
What about 2 wires in a twin bootlace ferrule?

How shall I look at such a device ?

- as an extension to the terminal making it "especially designed for"
- as a device to joint two wires into one ?

What to consider here ?
What about safety standards for this product ?
I found no approval markings on data sheets ?

Best Regards
Gert Gremmen
