I have also just received my copy, and my understanding is as follows 61010:1993 + A2 will not have a DOW set until all the other elements of 61010 ( i,e 61010-2-xxxx have been updated to refer to the 2001 copy.
This information is contained within the national foreword for BS EN 61010 i.e the UK version. Therefore they run in parallel until then.
