This standard refers to devices which measures or detects gases (combustible, toxic, oxygen). 1. Paragraph two of scope of this standard tells that this standard contains requirements for devices used in explosive or potentially explosive atmosphere. So my question is: Does this standard refer only to gas measure devices used in explosive atmosphere or to all devices used in explosive atmosphere? For example: Devices which measures temperature or humidity in explosive or potentially explosive atmosphere. 2. Does this standard refer also to devices for carbon-dioxide (CO2) measurement ? ( I think that in some cases it would be recognized as toxic gas) Thank You in advance. -------------------------------------------
