Walton L F Research Poplar Grove, IL 61065, USA ------------------------------------------- HP made a pair of active down-converters (IIRC, 18-26 GHz & 26-40 GHz) for their compliance systems, and they were built around an HP-8566B. I don't think sales were very impressive, so don't look for these on eBay. OTOH, the older HP-8562 had a line of down-converters (HP-11970x) that extended to (IIRC) 110 GHz. I still use the K & A models for the 18-26 & 26-40 GHz bands. You might have an easier task to get whatever 11970 down-converters you need, and find an 8562, than to try to find the converters for the 8566B compliance system. BTW, the HP down-converters also need a DC bias power fed to them, and the 8562 provides for this on the LO output coax. I don't recall how that worked on the 8566B compliance system.
