It will be discussed again at a CENELEC meeting on Thursday and Friday of this week. Solutions are being proposed and it will be necessary to make a final decision at this meeting, if at all possible. It appears likely that CENELEC Technical Board will have to be asked to take some action to help resolve the problem, and that may result in a further delay. > >My current understanding is that since I use EN 301 489-1 and EN >61000-6-3 for some of our products, that the requirements require the >latest revision of the standard on the OJ, which would be EN 55022 1998. > >On August 1st, I will have to apply A1 which require the ferrite tubes >on cables. > >In December, A2 goes into effect. I will take a copy of your message to the meeting to highlight the sort of questions that need urgent answers. The matter of UNDATED references to EN 55022 in other standards is an issue that certainly needs to be checked out. -- Regards, John Woodgate, OOO - Own Opinions Only.
