I am looking for the appropriate EU Directive and EMC and/or Telecom standard to apply to cable modems. I suppose a cable modem could be considered indirectly connected to the telecom network making it subject to the R&TTE Directive. Does anyone have any opinions on which Directive to apply and which product standard it fits best into?
