Group, It would be good to find some experience in submitting Specified Product into the Japanese (Denan) market.
I have a problem with interpreting the quality report that is required to be completed at the factory, regarding inquires about the equipment used for 5 tests. Our product is a Small Single-phase Transformer, and the reference in the law says that for Small Single-phase Transformer, each unit must be tested by the devices given in Appendix 4 of "Enforcement Regulations of The Electrical Appliance and Material Safety Law". Each must have a dimensional test A dielectric strength test by insulation resistance tester A dielectric strength test by high voltage (hipot) A temperature test. A functional test. Are only the relevant tests required? In our case, a dielectric strength test by high voltage (hipot 2121Vdc) and a functional test?
