Dear EU Experts:

Is conducted emission at telecommunication ports still a requirement per CISPR
22/EN 55022? The latest version of harmonized standards (published in OJ C
201 of 2006-08-24, excerpted below) lists that EN 55022: 1998 incorporating
Amendments 1 and 2 is the standard. Table 3 and 4 of "EN 55022: 1998
Incorporating Corrigendum No. 1 and Amendments Nos. 1 and 2" (published by
BSI) list limits of conducted emission at telecommunication ports.

If conducted emission at telecommunication ports is required, what is your
suggestion/experience in impedance stabilization network (ISN)? ISDN
products are one of my employer's product lines.

One of the equipment turnkey proposals for CISPR 22/EN 55022 from a well-known
equipment manufacturer does not include an ISN. In addition, a friend
suggested me to hold on the purchase of ISN as the telecom ports' requirement
might go away. Can some one share the latest development on this requirement?

Your comments are highly appreciated!

Best regards,

Grace Lin
