I'm not sure that the Generic standards apply. Your products may be 
within the scopes of EN 55014-1 and EN 55014-2, which, as Product-Family 
standards, over-ride the Generics.

Your EMC experts have to decide if a change is likely to affect the EMC 
performance adversely or not. For example, changing an induction motor 
probably would not, whereas changing a commutator motor might. If in 
doubt, you (or the test house) can do 'pre-compliance' tests.
