More detail on restrictions would be of interest, even those that are not
directly a restriction. For example the entry for the US does not point out
that the uppermost channels of the ISM band are indirectly banned because of
the requirement not to have the skirts extend above 2483.5MHz.

Subject: Re: 802 Frequency and Power Level Document Available

Dear Members,

While we prepare for a revision of the document interested, we would like to
know your need to make the document more useful and valuable. We plan to
incorporate Peter's and Neil's comments.

If you have a paticular country (or countries) that you or your employer is
intertested in, please let us know. We will try our best to search for the
information. We have received a member's offer to search for information in
Polish.

We have received requests for the acceptance of 802 series (802.11 a/b/g,
Zigbee, 802.11n, etc.) in particular territory. For example, how many
countries are Zigbee accepted? We need your help/input for this information.

Best regards,
Grace

To All Members,

I have just posted the document *WorldWide_Frequency_Power_20070419.zip*
to the EMC-PSTC Forum web site. From the web site's home page, click on
Files on the left side of the page. Once the new page opens, find and
click on the EMC folder. Inside you find the document mentioned above.

This document in a collaborative effort of Grace Lin, George Stunts and
Richard Georgerian (EMC-PSTC members all). It lists, by country, RLAN /
WLAN frequency and power level information for countries throughout the
world. It includes links to regulatory web sited or further information.

The document comes in four file formats and all are in one ZIP file. The
base document is in MS Word format. Know that I tried converting this
base document into text, Excel and other formats without much success in
creating a useful file.

Feel free to make use of the document. If you have any suggestions or
find any errors, please send email to Grace, George, or Richard.
