Could someone post a link to the below mentioned Wi-Fi document that was
created on the emc-pstc website. I looked earlier today to find it and could
not.
Thank you

Peter,

People have been searching for the Holy Grail for nearly 2000 years, and I
think what you are looking for is probably even more elusive!!

You reference at least four EU Directives (five or six if you include the Toys
Directive and/or the General Product Safety Directive to address the choking
hazard), and will no doubt have to consult FCC and Industry Canada websites,
and to get the artworks, will no doubt have to visit a multitude of regulatory
authority websites. I have encountered the marketeers 'worldwide' statement
before, but they seldom really mean that as they probably do not have
distribution channels in literally every country. I would strongly recommend
asking for a specific product launch plan, identifying all countries that they
intend marketing to and a planned date of market entry for each so that you
can prioritise your activities. While I don't think you will find a single
source for the information you want, websites such as the European Radio
Office and ITU may well provide links to many of the sources that you will!
require.
Don't forget the Wi-Fi document that was created on the emc-pstc website this
year. It is now a really comprehensive source of information on 2.4 GHz
requirements in most countries.
