Consider the different marking requirements for FCC depending on whether the product is subject to Grant of Authorization, Certification, Declaration of Conformity, or Verification. There is no one rule fits all. Perhaps the list moderators could advise whether the IEEE server could support a database of graphic files for all the publicly available markings to be uploaded so that we could hyperlink them from the document? I think it would be helpful to have a resource for regulations such as RoHS and WEEE and the Batteries Directive, but I would not advise including it within the radio regulatory document, although it could be linked from it. Another useful bit of information, which could be included in the document, would be whether or not the regulatory regime involved in-country testing and/or the involvement of an in-country agent (e.g. C-tick requires an Australian company registration ID in the marking).
