All,

 

I’ve been hearing rumblings that UL is considering adding IEC TS 62441 to
clause 4.7.1 (reducing the risk of ignition and spread of flame) of UL 69050-1
for equipment intended to be used in the home.  I’m not familiar with the
IEC 62441 standard.  Could somebody provide me a quick summary of the test/
requirements?   Are the requirements of IEC 62441 are substantially different
>from UL 94/ the IEC 60695 series?
