  Our moulded plugs are rather complicated because of the fuse and the 
need to be able to change it. Also, plugs suffer damage, and we like to 
be able to replace the plug without having to replace the whole cable.

Re-wireable Euro  plugs do exist, but you have to buy them from 
electrical shops.
