All, I know that many on this forum also deal with ISO 9001.
With the soon to be released ISO 9001:2015, a client has asked me when it is mandatory to update. Their registrar has already sent letters to this effect. In gist of the letter, the registrar's says that the company must be updated to a minimum of ISO 9001:2008 and be ready to begin the transition to the 2015 edition. In trying to understand how this works, I find that staying up to date may not be mandatory. Instead it may simply be that the registrar who is accredited by ANAB may want the company to update to the latest version that they have within the scope of their accreditation. Is this a fair assessment? thanks a bunch, Doug -- Douglas E Powell doug...@gmail.com Skype: doug.powell52 http://www.linkedin.com/in/dougp01 - ---------------------------------------------------------------- This message is from the IEEE Product Safety Engineering Society emc-pstc discussion list.
