Maybe do you mean IEC 60601-1-2? Anyway, in IEC 61000-4-3 in general, prefered distance is 3 m but the distance may be reduced down to 1 m. Unless otherwise specified, the requirement will be applied to standards which use IEC 61000-4-3 test method.
