Brian, we used EMC partner TRA-2000, which had EFT, Surge Combo/Ringwave, dips & interrupts and it was used by a few technicians for about 20 years. It never needed repair, always stayed within calibration parameter, and was shipped a couple of times between offices in Canada and the USA. It is still in use AFAIK. They would be my first choice if I was still in the industry: https://www.emc-partner.com/ Ralph From Sent: July 2, 2025 1:38 PM To: Subject: [PSES] Flicker, Harmonics, and DIPS test equipment Hello everyone. Our 25 year old Test Equipment for performing the Harmonic and Flicker Emissions and Dips tests (4-11) decided to die today. I put in a request for repair but things have changed so much of the last 25-30 years, maybe it would be money better spent to buy something new. Any recommendations? (please reply off-line so not to violate any rules) Any warnings on what to avoid? For a system that will do up to 230V 16 amps per phase, what kind of money can I expect to pay? There are so many new players out there I am not sure who offers what, and I need to get the lab back up and running soon. Thanks to all for any advice or recommendations. The Other Brian _____
