To be fair, most department stores are simply distribution outlets, and even 
"store" brands are just private labeled.

But Sears has been pretty sleazy in the past, and now that they are owned by 
K-mart that is not likely to improve any.

As a previous person said, this is good news (and it is the first I heard of 
it, so thanks for posting it) in that it broadens the market and the base 
for EMC.  Even people who do not buy the Sears unit will see it in the 
catalog and be aware that such products exist, and some of them will search 
for general CNC information and find EMC.
