Yep, saw [EMAIL PROTECTED] thing on /. I looked over the reprap pages and I am curious if the software can take a model and then export the "extrusion path" in something close to g-code. Heck I'll write a translator if needed.
Most of the cnc cad programs I use are designed to create tool paths for removing material, not laying it down. Outside of this I see no reason why a emc machine could not be so configured to do this. Could it be as simple as connecting the extrusion enable to emc's "spindle on" output?
