Shortly: Yes, you can. What you need to know is what kind of kinematics it is. If your robot is simple, generic like Scara or so, you will find almost ready files. If it is not trivial kinematics, you will have to write it. But as far as I know, you will not find software which better fits strange robotics constructions like EMC>
