Can you paste the actual "unexpected rt delay" results (from dmesg) into 
an email?

That test takes place in the servo thread, and usually requires delays 
of a few hundred thousand nanoseconds.  You said your latency test 
reported an ovl_max value of only 9000.  That is a 100:1 or so discrepency.

Can you also please describe the system?  Is it a laptop?
