I have had good luck with this setup for point to point links: http://www.trevormarshall.com/biquad.htm
Here is my version: http://www.wallacecompany.com/cnc_lathe/DCP_0447-1a.JPG (DWL-G730ap) http://www.wallacecompany.com/cnc_lathe/DCP_0443-1a.JPG http://www.wallacecompany.com/cnc_lathe/DCP_0445-1a.JPG (DWL-G820) This bridge connects (CAT5) to a Linksys WRT54GL router (running Linux of course) which automatically logs into my Poptop VPN server (via WiFi). No WEP to worry about. On the remote (shop) end, I can use CAT5 or Wifi to connect workstations to the Linksys router. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ On Sat, 2007-03-10 at 10:04 +0000, Andy Ibbotson wrote: > Paul, > That looks like a good idea.
