Your choice. EMC2 treats the Mesa board as simply a collection of encoder counters and other I/O. You connect one counter to each axis using a .hal file. The supplied example HAL files use encoders 0, 1, and 2 for axes X, Y, and Z respectively, but that doesn't mean you must do the same. > I'm encouraged that I finaly got one of the encoders counting!
