Thanks. > Sure. If you set the display to "commanded position" there will be no discrepancy. How much is it off? That is your instantaneous following error at rest, because it is displaying actual machine position. If the error is larger than a few ten thousandths of an inch, your servos need tuning. If it is just a few "tenths", then that could be a combination of roundoff error and the minimum resolution of your encoders.
