Well folks - I'm back again at this. Here's what I'm trying to do. PC
with One HDD to install Ubuntu 6.06 EMC2 & BDI. 4.51 EMC2 only on
separate partitions. Gave up the idea of installing the Dual EMC2 on
separate HDD's. Completed PC will have no Windows OS. Just the Dual
Linux EMC2's OS. This is where I need your help?

Have installation CD's for both. Ubuntu installs. Using its Auto
partitioning. When BDI 4.51 EMC installs using its Auto partitioning it
wipes out Ubuntu every time & Vise Versa. Contrary to what you'd expect.
I'm not a whiz kid but that plus something has been left out. Upon
reboot only the last Distro EMC will show up on startup screen. Does it
make any difference which EMC is installed first. How do I get both to
install & show up on the start up screen??

Not all that familiar with manual installation, commands, creating
partitions, reconfiguration, etc. but if you don't mind taking the time
to explain the step by step processes involved needed , or just tell me
where to go, I'll do the best to configure the booting system.

Starting with a brand NEW HDD. Would like to have both EMC2 available,
is all, feel comfortable knowing how to get it done for future situations.

Would like to thank those that have taken the time to reply to my past
questions. Haven't done a very good job of keeping you folks informed.
I'm referred to the question page on Sourceforge with replies. Not an
email program??? but that's another matter??

Thank you for your patience & understanding. Your input is important & I
would appreciate hearing from you.

Pete
