Hi I am having problems configuring a home made stepper machine. I am using the stepper config wizard, but cannot find values for: Step time Step space Direction hold Direction setup I cannot find any reference to these parameters in the MSD542 Microstepping Driver data sheet. It does allow me to change values for microstep from 2 to 125, but I do not see this is relevant to stem space, or step time. (A micro step of 16 seems to work, from trial and error)
I can run the 'EMC2 AXIS' program that displays when emc is first started, but some of the letters get miss aligned...is this because the machine is missing stepps, how can I solve this? Also,I am unable to test any axis in the stepper config wizard. Why would this be?
