Gentlemen,
   If you are in the capture mode you would be able to MDI (or single
step a program) the position, push a button to record the first
column, use jog mode to position the joint to the correct position in
the positive direction, push a button to record the second column,
using jog you would be able to then move the axis into the correct
position in the negative direction and then push a button to record
the third column. Repeat as desired.
   The choice of type would be done prior to collecting the data. The
collection process would record the proper data.
   How you get to the corrected postion depends on the axis motion. I
will use a laser tracker for the linear joints and an indicator for
the rotary joints.
   This is not for a machine with a scale. Comping a scale is the
topic of another discussion.
   Now for the fun part. Implementing this. I don't know how to do it.
   I should be collecting the data tomorrow for the cinci. I will
write the information and type it into the files. This will work just
fine.
