Another option that you could do, is to take a simple hub/switch, and cable the linux box to the windows box. Set up networking on the windows box, and allow windows to share it's internet connection. The linux box would then route through the windows box and out onto the internet. This option has the advantage of being easier to do, because it eliminates most of the problems of configuring linux. The only thing that has to be done, is to have networking set up in linux, and for linux to get it's IP address automatically from the windows box. I have done this in the past, when using winmodems on dialup service. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Emc-users mailing list Emc-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/emc-users
