I usually spend my dayjob working with welding robots.
On those teach pendants we have 2 button pairs for each joint to jog.
It's not very seldom I wish I had more fingers on my hands.. I usually jog 
3-4 of them at once (saves a lot of time).
Note: on those kinds of robots you do all the programming via teach-in. Move 
to position, align, store, move to next position, align, store, etc
