Thanks for your report. Another user had reported this problem on irc, and we already have a fix for the problem that will be in the next release.
Besides the workaround of not using G64 P-, I believe that specifying half-circles rather than full circles will avoid the problem. As you observed, this bug doesn't affect 2.2 at all.
