Perhaps your using the hal_input component specified in the wiki and not the
hal_joystick?
My configuration is based on hal_joystick and this is what isn't loading.
I've tried on the previous version to get my joypad working with hal_input
but just couldn't get it to work, hence the use of hal_joystick.
