It's hard to find a better example of the individuality of requirements,
since without a socket to take interchangeable tool holders, you've
found a genuine dilemma, I see. If the requirements have changed to
the degree that auto toolchanging is important, might it almost be time
to Fleabay the current spindle, and source one with a standard spindle
socket, a la R8 | INT30 | ... ?  (If a suitable product exists.)

Alternatively, what about sourcing a quote for replacing the current
fixed collet holder with a simple threaded spindle nose to match the
thread in the pt_rapid_changer socket? (An angle grinder with cut-off
wheel, and a screwcutting lathe should do the job.)
