Switched load is referring to consumers with switched/electronic power supplies, nothing to do with manually throwing a switch or something similar. Loads must be Ohm's loads. Good old resistance. The regulating circuitry monitors closely what happens with the load and if that has some strange characteristics, it won't function. It's similar to the problem of a dimmer controlling a fluorescent light. Won't dim it either. Any case, disconnecting or interfering electrically with the load by any means while under VFD control is a no no. Rainer
