If it now only moves in the other direction, then your SloSyn driver is expecting pulses on one input for CW and on the other input for CCW. This is a fairly common command scheme, sometimes called 1 pulse, and the step/direction scheme is called 2 pulse (1P/2P). There may be an option setting on the driver to convert it to 2P or step/direction. If not, there is a step ouput selection for this type of command.
