At first, I agreed with you, but now I'm thinking, skew would be better fixed on the machine. You would correct the problem once and be done. With the skew correction in the CAM, the issue would need to be addressed with each part file. This also brings up whether it's best to handle mutili-part setups (which may need translation and/or rotation for each part to maximize material use) in CAM or the machine.
