Just in case, here is a sample config using step type 9: http://www.wallacecompany.com/machine_shop/Shizuoka/emc2/configs/ST-N_current/ this is running my Shizuoka mill with old unipolar drives and running quite nicely, thank you :) In reviewing the .hal file, I remembered that with four phases and a drive enable for each axis, at least two parallel ports and buffer cards are needed. I also noticed my C10 card has a female 25 pin DSub, so it won't plug directly into the port or an extension cable. I'll need to scrounge for a couple of males and some ribbon cable before I can play with my C10. -- Kirk Wallace http://www.wallacecompany.com/machine_shop/ http://www.wallacecompany.com/E45/index.html California, USA ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Return on Information: Google Enterprise Search pays you back Get the facts. http://p.sf.net/sfu/google-dev2dev _______________________________________________ Emc-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/emc-users
