You can export your desktop to wherever you want. Its natively built into X11. 
Read up on X11 exporting desktops. I do it all the time. You need to think 
about what Ries said about safety. Given that I can't believe you expect EMC2 
to have anything to do with this. This is an OS/GUI function not an EMC2 
application function.

Aram,

my mayor problem with this that a potential big machine get's controlled
over the internet. Since it's a maintenance task, anything can happen.
If it's a big machine and for 'some' reason' things get out of control
the operator on the other end of the wire cannot see this, not even
with a slow webcam.

Really it's best during upgrades/maintenances of software that somebody
is on the floor space.

That said, if you know what you are doing, and understand the
limitation you can do it, but
given that you couldn't find the answer already on google and don't
understand X11,
my advice is to not do it.
