You want to run two motors off one driver?  This is generally not 
recommended.  If you really want to try,
you can connect the motor/s windings in series.  That makes sure the 
current in both motors is the same.

If you have an extra driver, and assuming you are using the stepgen 
component to generate steps by software, it is fairly easy
to route the step and direction signals to two outputs on the parallel 
port.  The one thing to be careful with is that you want the two motors 
to stay in sync so as not to twist the gantry.
