Just talked to a friend of mine who's husband ( at age 40 ) is having mitral valve surgery, in lieu of replacement. The whole thing is being done with minimally invasive techniques. Spread three ribs for the tools. Whole thing is controlled by a surgeon across the room driving with a set of joy sticks.
