Have a look at www.mini-box.com they have Mini-ITX enclosures and 12 VDC power supplies along with the mainboards for the Mini-ITX systems. A number of my amateur radio friends use them mobile for Linux servers for Automatic Packer Reporting System and logging. Some of the mini-box cases come with mountings where you can actually mount the computer in the back of a flat panel monitor using the VESA mounting for wall mounts. Makes a real neat package.
My own system I have a bare bones Shuttle K45 with a Dual Core processor and 2 gigs of ram.The onboard video works well and motherboard parallel port drives the Gecko 540 fine. Though I would like the mini-box system mounted to the monitor better, almost like a laptop but without the laptop restrictions.
