Not exactly.  The first board has P1 (the DB-25) plugged into the PC 
parallel port.
Then there is a 26-conductor ribbon connector from P9 of the first board
to P1 of the second board.  So, that cable would have a 26-pin IDC on 
one end, and
a Female DB-25 on the other end.  Pin 1 to pin 1, and conductor #26 is 
snipped off
at the DB-25 end.

The first board or's in the WAIT signal (an acknowledge signal) from the 
second board, so
they can't be simply daisy-chained.  The rest of the signals are 
daisy-chained.
