With recent emc'c, a scale -####### will reverse the direction both of the
table and how axis see and displays its position. If that isn't what you
meant, swap any one stepper coils polarity, which will reverse the
direction of travel without changing how axis see's the direction. I have
been told that using x table and the left-right arrow keys, the right arrow
should move the table to the left so that the bit is carried to the right
in the workpiece. The up arrow should pull the table toward you, carrying
the bit to the rear in the workpiece. Similarly the "page up" should raise
the bit, and a "page down" should plunge it into the workpiece.

I am not sure if it has been said, but I have the [ key move my table CCW,
and the ] key move it CW, but I have no clue what the real working
machinists on this list prefer as a convention for that.

Nor have I read what key pairs might be assigned to the other 5 axis's that
emc can co-ordinate the moves of. This could be a Documentation
improvement request unless it is already in the wiki. Not having the extra
axis's, I haven't looked. But now I have, without finding a definitive
answer.

Cheers, gene
