these might need a fair amount of modifying, such as new higher quality
ball bearings and machining the shaft to accept a pulley.

I salvaged some motors that where on ShurFlo pumps used for trailer
water systems. They were full of rust, but cleaned up nicely and
bearings are easy to change.

Other sources might be old large printers, copiers. Automotive fan
motors might work, but may be optimized for low torque and high speed.
